Yummy yummy in my tummy!

Today I ate at a seaside restaurant and had an amazing meal. You know I don't like fish, so I ordered roast chicken, creamy mashed potatoes, and vegetables (which I didn't eat). We are in Cape Town and today we went to the Point of Good Hope and saw African penguins in the wild.
Yesterday we climbed a really high mountain and looked over Table Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean. Cape Town is an amazing place. I will post pictures later, grandma! But everyday has both positives and negatives. My negative is that we went to a really cold beach where the water caused my teeth to chatter and it felt like needles were poking through my feet. It was as cold as an iceberg. Yep, grandma, grandpa, aunts, and uncles..it was cold!

Yummy yummy in my tummy!

Wonderful Wednesday

Mmmmmmm.......brownies cooking in the oven. I can just smell them. I am making a big batch of brownies for our bake sale tomorrow. We are making them to support the family with eleven kids. Tomorrow I am also sleeping in the shack. I am so excited and better to go bed so I will be ready. That is why wonderful Wednesday. Love your only claire

Exciting monday

Monday! It has come! Mondays are the start of a new week. Today was perfectly the same...as any ole Monday will go. Let me recharge my brain batteries...okay here goes....

In Africa, we go to recess outside. And it is a killer because of all that sun. You never want to be out at 10 o clock to 4 o clock because the sun will burn you up. It makes me feel fed up and tired.

My teacher's name is Ms. Collins. She is really nice. She is from England and she is getting married in May. I am going to her wedding. It is going to be so exciting. Also, my dad has his 40th birthday coming up soon.

We also have a sleepover in a shack that we built at our school. We are doing this to raise money for a poor family who lives in a brick house with only two rooms. They have 11 kids. I have been collecting money for the family...I'm so excited! That is why it's an exciting Monday!

About Me

I was born in Boston. At the age of 16 months we moved to China. When I was three, we moved again to Singapore. We lived there for five years, and now I am eight years old and we live in Africa.

Today was one of my dramatic Sundays. Let's talk about acting. I had a little bad moment. But it is all better now.

Today I filled a gap, I healed a scab. I made my drama work out. But don't ask me to talk about what happened.

Hope you have a great Sunday, and remember: nothing goes right when drama is around!
